Portfolio

My portfolio highlights my work across public speaking, coding, and writing. It reflects my focus on communicating complex ideas, building creative projects, and making science more accessible.

Public Speaking

I share complex scientific ideas through engaging, accessible talks with a focus on clarity and storytelling. My work includes a Three Minute Thesis on liquid-liquid phase separation and a TEDx talk on fungal disease, both using a touch of zombies to make science a little more memorable.

Coding Projects

I build creative coding projects that explore science in unconventional ways. My work includes a Python-based tool that transforms DNA sequences into music, turning genetic code into something you can actually listen to.

Writing

I write at the intersection of science, careers, and advocacy, from navigating academia to improving the systems around it. My work includes newsletter-style essays, faculty interviews, and ongoing policy work such as drafting a lactation policy at UNC Charlotte.

Podcasts

I’ve been invited to conversations that sit at the intersection of science, policy, and lived experience in academia. From discussing graduate student government and lactation policy to comparing what it is like to navigate different stages of academia while raising a child, these conversations focus on making academic life more transparent, honest, and human.
